Fourier-Whittaker Coefficients of Eisenstein Series on SL(3,A)

We explore means of evaluating Fourier-Whittaker coefficients on p-adic Lie groups by evaluating in explicit detail these coefficients with respect to a generic unitary character on the upper unipotent subgroup of SL(3,Qp). The method is by expanding the integrand into an explicit complex-valued function on Q3 p and evaluating the resulting integral. This has applications in evaluating similar integrals that appear in compactified type IIB string theory.
